In my line of work, I get lots of feedback from people wanting to Meditate Daily however either do not know how or have the time to attend a class to do so. From a young age, I have struggled with an over active mind, broken heart and busy life losing my mom, many years ago at the age of 11. I was constantly told to ‘slow down’ however as many of us know that is easier said than done in Life.
These 3 steps have helped me personally and I have helped many professionally also. It is a
way to self-help ourselves daily and add it in our busy routines as part of our own holistic Body Mind Heart Spirit and Soul Life Journey.
1) Twice a day, morning and evening take 3 deep breathes in and out. A method I find
helpful until it becomes second nature in to breathe in counting to 4 Hold counting
to 3 (or 4) breathe out counting to 4.
This can help Reboot, Energize and Align yourself.
2) Light a candle any time of the day for a minimum of 3 to 5 Minutes and set a clear
positive intention or affirmation for your day and Life.
The Flame can help your spirit, to clear anything you feel you need to let go off and surrender and reignite your energy, true, flame and inspirations.
3) Silence Meditation or Just Be. Sit in a quiet place wherever possible for a minimum
of 3 to 5 minutes, take a big deep breath allowing your giving and receiving to align.
As much as possible, dis-attach & do not answer to your overactive mind and
thoughts. If you like myself, are a visual person, visualize a rainbow coming from the
sky down into your heart. Notice the first color that comes to you without
questioning it. Use this color to envelope your whole body, top bottom, front back,
left right & center to relax, re-align and heal yourself.
I truly hope these tips are helpful for you to add in some you time and bring some meditation
and self-healing into your daily Life.
